SUMMARY OF CRASH:

On 11/20/22, at approximately 1748 hours, Troopers from the Vermont State Police – Rutland Barracks, responded to a two-vehicle crash on US RT 7 near Sangamon Rd, in the Town of Pittsford. Through investigation, it was determined Operator #1 (Buzzell), was operating Vehicle #1, traveling south on US RT 7. Operator #2 (Beede), was operating Vehicle #2 and attempting to turn left onto Sangamon Rd. Operator #1 (Buzzell) rear-ended Operator #2 (Beede), causing significant damage to both vehicles. Operator #1 (Buzzell) was transported to Rutland Regional Medical Center to be treated for her injuries. Operator #2 (Beede) was uninjured. US RT 7 in the area of the crash was temporarily closed for the crash investigation and roadway cleanup.

Pittsford Fire Department, Pittsford Police Department, and Regional Ambulance Services assisted on the scene.
