SUMMARY OF CRASH:

On 8/3/2022, at approximately 1254 hours, Troopers from the Vermont State Police – Rutland Barracks responded to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of US RT 7 and US RT 4 in the Town of Rutland. Through investigation, it was revealed Operator #1 (Kelly) was operating vehicle #1 south on US RT 7. Operator #2 (Price) was stopped at the traffic light at the intersection of US RT 4 attempting to turn left to travel north on US RT 7. Vehicle #1 failed to come to a stop at the red light before entering the intersection, where it struck the driver’s side of vehicle #2 as it began to turn left.

Troopers were assisted on scene by Rutland Town Fire Department, Regional Ambulance Service, and Manchester Police Department. Earle’s Truck Repair removed both vehicles.
