SUMMARY OF CRASH:

On the above date and time, Troopers responded to the area of 1898 US Route 302 in Newbury, Vermont for a reported motor vehicle crash. Investigation revealed Operator 1 (McClintock) crossed the centerline travelling west and crashed into an oncoming vehicle. Operator 2 (Stanton) was travelling east when his vehicle was struck and reported minor injuries resulting from the crash. Operator 1 reported no injuries. Operator 1 exhibited signs of impairment and was arrested for suspicion of DUI following roadside standardized field sobriety tests.
