SUMMARY OF CRASH: On 05/28/2022, at approximately 2145 hours, Troopers from the Vermont State Police – Rutland Barracks responded to a single vehicle crash on East Mountain Road in the Town of Killington. Investigation revealed that Vehicle #1 was traveling west on East Mountain Road. Operator #1 failed to maintain their lane of travel and completely left the roadway, striking a boulder before coming to a position of uncontrolled rest. Two passengers were transported to Rutland Regional Medical Center for minor injuries. Troopers were assisted on scene by Killington Police Department, Killington Fire Department and Regional Ambulance Service.
