SUMMARY OF CRASH:

On 03/23/22 at approximately 1739 hours, Troopers responded to a two-car crash on US Route 7 at the intersection with Lime Kiln Road in the Town of New Haven. Initial investigation revealed V#1 was traveling north on US Route 7 while V#2 was traveling south on Lime Kiln Road. V#1 turned right onto Lime Kiln Road and struck a telephone pole before returning to the roadway and striking V#2 head-on.

Both vehicles were totaled, and the telephone pole was knocked over. US Route 7 in the area of this crash was reduced to one lane for just over one hour.
