SUMMARY OF CRASH:
On the above date and approximate time, VSP Derby troopers, Newport Ambulance and Brighton Fire responded to a report of a two- vehicle crash at the above location. Investigation revealed operator 1, who was stopped at the stop sign on VT-114 at the intersection of VT-105, proceeded onto VT-105 without yielding to right-of-way traffic. Operator 1 failed to yield to vehicle 2, which was traveling east on VT-105, and a collision occurred.
Both operators denied injury. A passenger in vehicle 2, Sarah Macfarlane of Island Pond, was transported to North Country Hospital for injuries believed to be minor.
Both vehicles were towed from the scene by Grenier’s Truck Shop.
Violations: Operator 1 – 23VSA1048/Stop sign violation, 23VSA800/Failure to carry liability insurance.
