Are the attorneys’ disbursements and costs also contingent and if not, do they have to be paid in advance?

The costs and disbursements outlined previously are the client’s responsibility even if there is no recovery in your case. In other words, although your attorney’s fee is contingent upon a settlement or successful court award, the actual out-of-pocket costs are not contingent upon successful recovery. However, if there is no recovery, we will waive your out-of-pocket expenses if you are unable to pay them. Sothere is no financial risk to you by hiring David Polow on a contingent fee basis.
