SUMMARY OF CRASH: On January 23, 2022, at approximately 0901 hours, Trooper from the Vermont State Police – Rutland Barracks responded to a two-vehicle crash on US RT 4 at the intersection with Northside Dr., in the Town of Killington.

Initial investigation revealed that Operator #1 (Donovan) was attempting to exit the entrance to Pico Mountain, taking a left turn to travel westbound on US RT 4. Operator #1 did not see Operator #2 travelling eastbound on US RT 4 and entered the roadway, causing the front end of Vehicle #2 to collide with the rear driver’s side of Vehicle #1.

The Vermont State Police were assisted on scene by Regional Ambulance Service and the Killington Fire Department.
