SUMMARY OF CRASH:

On November 22nd, 2021 at approximately 0922 hours the Vermont State Police were notified of a two vehicle crash on Route 105 in Richford approximately two miles east of Steven’s Mills Slide Road. One vehicle caught on fire after the collision and both sustained significant front end damage. Both operators were transported to Northwest Medical Center with injuries. Initial investigation suggests that slick roads from deteriorating weather conditions led to the head on collision in the eastbound lane of Route 105. The eastbound lane in that section of Route 105 was closed for approximately two hours while Richford Fire put out the vehicle fire and assisted traffic through the area until the tow company was able to recover both vehicles from the scene.
