SUMMARY OF CRASH:

At the above date and time, Troopers from the Vermont State Police – Shaftsbury Barracks responded to a two car motor vehicle crash on Vermont Route 9 near the intersection of Vermont Route 8 in the town of Searsburg, Vermont. Upon arrival, two vehicles were located in the west bound lane of travel on Vermont Route 9. All passengers and operators were transported to Southern Vermont Medical Center for further medical evaluation by Bennington Rescue Squad, Pownal Rescue Squad, and Deerfield Rescue. Non-life threatening injuries were reported at this time. Bennington Rural Fire Department and Wilmington Fire Department assisted on scene. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.

Vermont State Police were assisted by Heartwellville Towing with the removal of both vehicles.
