SUMMARY OF CRASH:

On 06/26/21 at approximately 2210 hours, Troopers responded to a single vehicle crash on Shellhouse Mountain Road near the intersection with Fuller Mountain Road in the Town of Ferrisburgh. The operator of the vehicle was reported to be entrapped and was extracted by rescue personnel. Troopers identified the operator as Heather Clark (47) of N Ferrisburgh, VT.

Investigation revealed Clark was traveling south on Shellhouse Mountain Road when she crossed into the northbound lane and then returned to the southbound lane. Clark then overcorrected and crossed back into the northbound lane, causing her vehicle to overturn and leave the roadway.

Clark was transported by ambulance to UVM Medical Center with suspected injuries. Investigation is ongoing.

The Vermont State Police would like to remind motorists of the importance of always wearing a seatbelt while in a moving vehicle.
