SUMMARY OF CRASH:
On March 18, 2021 at approximately 1721 hours, Troopers from the St. Johnsbury
Barracks responded to a reported two vehicle crash at the entrance to the Green
Mountain Mall in St. Johnsbury. Investigation revealed Linda Leach (60) was
travelling North on Memorial Drive in her 2020 Jeep Wrangler, when she was
struck by a 2010 Subaru Legacy, operated by Ethan Holt (31), who was
attempting to take a left turn into the Green Mountain Mall parking lot.
Both operators were transported to Northeast Vermont Regional Hospital (NVRH)
for injuries. During the investigation it was discovered that Holt’s license is
civilly suspended.
Holt received tickets for operating with a suspended license 23 VSA 676 and
failure to yield taking a left turn 23 VSA 1047
