GLOVER — A 63-year-old man from Derby was injured during a single-vehicle rollover crash in Glover on Tuesday.

The crash took place on Vermont Route 16, near the Greensboro town line, at around 8:50 p.m.

The driver, identified as Kenneth Hodgdon, told police he swerved to avoid a moose in the roadway.

Hodgdon was traveling south when he crossed over the northbound lane and rode the embankment for a brief period of time before rolling the vehicle.

He was transported to North Country Hospital to be treated for his injuries.

Glover Ambulance, Hardwick Ambulance, and the Greensboro and Glover Fire Department all responded to assist.
