SUMMARY OF CRASH:
On May 4th, 2020 at approximately 2:08 PM, Brewer was driving north on VT 142 in the town of Vernon. Missale was driving south on VT 142 and attempted to take a left hand turn into the post office across from Pond Road. Missale was distracted by another vehicle that drove by when she made her left hand turn and did not notice Brewer approaching. As a result, Missale crashed into her Brewer. Both vehicles sustained totaling damage. Missale was transported to Brattleboro Memorial Hospital for minor injuries. One juvenile passenger in Brewer’s vehicle was transported to Brattleboro Memorial Hospital for minor injuries and another juvenile passenger went to Brattleboro Memorial Hospital shortly after for minor injuries.
