SUMMARY OF CRASH:
On 05/03/2020 the Vermont State Police responded to a single vehicle rollover crash on Raymond Road near Staples Road in Danby VT. The operator, Robert Thompson was located near the crash scene and evaluated by Manchester Rescue Squad. Thompson was found to have been consuming alcohol and was placed under arrest for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol 3rd or more and for Driving License Suspended. Another vehicle driving the opposite direction may have been involved, causing Thompson to drive off the soft shoulder of the road. Anyone with information related to this crash is asked to call VSP Rutland at 802-773-9101. Thompson was cited to appear in Rutland Criminal Court on 07/06/2020 for DUI/DLS.
