SUMMARY OF CRASH: On 05/14/20 at approximately 1450 hours Troopers responded to the area of North Pownal Road and Carpenter Hill Road in Pownal for a reported two car crash. Investigation revealed that Bisson was operating his 2007 GMC pickup heading westbound on North Pownal Road when he crashed into the back of a parked woodchipper/boom truck. A crew from Davey Tree Service was performing roadside work with equipment parked along the westbound shoulder. Although Bisson’s vehicle sustained heavy damage, no injuries were reported on scene. The Davey chipper and boom truck sustained minor damage. There were traffic control measures in place at the time of the crash. No charges are pending. Pownal Fire and Rescue responded to the scene as well.
