SUMMARY OF CRASH: On 05/11/20 at approximately 0110 hours Vermont State Police
were dispatched to a single vehicle crash with airbag deployment, in the area of
6923 VT RT 9, Woodford. Troopers arrived on scene and began investigating the incident,
during which they learned Jordan Bice, 19, was operating the vehicle at the time
of the crash.

During investigation, Troopers learned Bice may have been distracted for a brief
moment, causing the vehicle to drift off the roadway and over an embankment and
into a stream bank. Bice and a female passenger both reported to have been
wearing their seatbelts at the time and sustained very minor injuries.

VT RT 9 was shut down for several minutes while the vehicle was being removed
from the scene. The Bennington Rural Fire Department and the Bennington Rescue
Squad also assisted at the scene.

This incident is still considered an open investigation at this time.
