SUMMARY OF CRASH:
On April 26, 2020, at approximately 0036 hours, the Vermont State Police responded to a single vehicle crash located on Crown Point Road near the intersection with Basin Harbor Road in the Town of Bridport.
Preliminary investigation indicated OP #1 was traveling east on Crown Point Road at an excessive rate of speed. Op#1 lost control of the vehicle and exited the west bound portion of roadway, subsequently colliding with a fence and coming to rest in a field. OP #1 was transported to Porter Medical Center for evaluation and treatment of injuries.
The Vermont State Police were assisted by the Bridport Fire Department and Middlebury Rescue.
