SUMMARY OF CRASH:
On April 15, 2020 at approximately 1420 hours, members of the Vermont State Police were notified of an erratically operated vehicle on VT RT 105 in the town of Sheldon. Several minutes later, VSP Troopers were notified that the vehicle crashed at the intersection of VT RT 105 an VT RT 120. The initial investigation revealed that the operator of the vehicle, Sean McCoy (26) had gone off the road, and his vehicle left the roadway, entering a ditch. Investigation revealed that the operator of the vehicle, Sean McCoy (26) was under operating while impaired. McCoy was subsequently place under arrest for DUI. He was processed at the Saint Albans State Police Barracks, and served a citation to appear in Franklin County Court on 06/29/2020 to answer to the charge of DUI. McCoy was then released to the care of an adult friend.
